We are so excited to announce New Heights Church’s next step! WE ARE MOVING! God has opened up the doors for us to own our own building and property. The building sits on 3 acres of land on Warner and the 101.
God’s heart is for people, and since New Heights Church started, that’s what we’ve been all about. He has given us vision to see us own land and make permanent roots in the East Valley. Your Legacy gifts and God’s divine provision makes it possible for us to reach this generation and the next so more people can find healing, hope, joy, and community.
Our current lease at the corner of Kyrene and Chandler Blvd and it expires July 1, 2023, and will increase 33-38%. We have the opportunity to purchase some property at the 101 and Warner, 5.5 miles away. It is a little more than 3.1 acres with a 8,900sq. ft. building and a 2000 sq ft building. We are looking to totally remodel the buidling with a 300 seat auditorium, kids rooms, foyer, and outdoor space for adults and kids. There are 3 manufactured buildings we will demo.
Our Vision is to restore this property to look amazing from the street, so it would be a place that people from all over the East Valley, from all walks of life, can come and Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose and Make a Difference for Jesus. This property will allow New Heights Church to have a permanent home to see hurting and lost humanity find a relationship with Jesus and a church they could call home.
This is a huge step for the Church, moving away from a lease property means that New Heights will be setting permanent roots in the east valley on a piece of land owned, managed and operated by the Church. Additionally, long term, this will save the Church money and create additional stability for everyone. By spending less on something we actually own we will be gifted more opportunities to do more for the church and more for the community. Most importantly we will be creating a legacy for New Heights, a permanent location that will be here to serve generations to come. This is truly an exciting opportunity for the Church and we are blessed and humbled by the support everyone has offered.
