Cost: $75/person (lodging & food included while at retreat center)
Are you ready to take a step back from your day to day responsibilities and join up with some other like-minded men? We all need to take some time away, so we can reset our life with God and others. Why not get out of the heat and go up in the mountains to allow time with God and time with others to encourage your heart. It will be a short but eventful trip- a time of hearing a message from God’s word, worship, fun activities, discussion, and connection with other men. This retreat is for men 11 years up and older. Ages 11-15 must be accompanied with an adult.
We will be staying at the Strawberry Meadow Pines Retreat Center located in the mountains of Strawberry, Arizona. The location for directions is Hardscrabble Mesa Rd & W Fossil Rd. There are 2 options for lodging: 1) There are 30 beds that are first come first serve based on sign up & payment. 2) You also have the option to camp outside in the national forest area next to the property. You would need your own tent with sleeping gear.
There are 2 departure time options if you want to carpool – 9:30am or 3:30pm. Each group will meet at New Heights Church to drive up to Strawberry, AZ.
SCHEDULE:
Friday, June 19
9:30am OR 3:30pm – Meet at the church if you are carpooling
12:00pm – Lunch in Payson (for 9:30am departure group)
6:00pm – Dinner at the Cabin
7:00pm – Session 1
8:15pm – Small Group
9:00pm – Late Night Activity
Saturday, June 20
8:00am – Breakfast
8:30am – Morning Devotion & Small Group
9:15am – Session 2
10:00am – Small Group
10:45am – Activity
12:00pm – Lunch at the cabin
12:30pm – Clean up
1:30pm – Dismiss/Leave to come home
