WE ARE A CHURCH IN CHANDLER ARIZONA EXISTING TO HELP PEOPLE KNOW GOD, FIND FREEDOM, DISCOVER PURPOSE, AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Whether you’re new to church, have been a Christian for many years, or are looking for a fresh start, you’re welcome here. Our hope is to give you a place where you experience a fresh, enjoyable connection to God and a community of people.

We do four things at New Heights Church that point back to our vision. Our vision is simple to help people Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose, and Make A Difference.

How we do this is through our Weekend Services, Life Groups, the Growth Track, and Serving on a Dream Team. These four things are the heart and soul of New Heights Church.

OUR PASTOR

Bill graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Biblical Studies and Business Management from Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri. He met his wife Lori while attending Evangel University. His wife graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education/Early Childhood. After that, in 1990, they married and moved to Kansas City. They went on the pastoral staff at Antioch Church, in Overland Park, Kansas. While at Antioch, Bill served as the Student Ministries and Life Groups Pastor. He and his wife served together on this staff for over 18 years.

After doing ministry in Overland Park, Ks, Bill and Lori went to Birmingham, AL to study church planting at Church of the Highlands, one of the most successful plants in the country. Then in 2011, working closely with the ARC (Association of Related Churches), Bill and Lori moved their family to Chandler, Arizona to start New Heights Church.

Guided By Staff

The Staff is led by the Senior Pastor. Overall, they oversees the day-to-day ministry and operations of the church. Therefore, this staff serves the congregation and are responsible for the development of the spiritual life of the church.

Protected by the Board of Directors

The board of directors support and serve the Church in business roles. They serve the Senior Pastor, supporting him and the church as the governing body within the church. They are appointed by the Senior Pastor to oversee the finances and direct the provision of the facilities needed by the church.

Strengthened by Overseers

The Overseers are three pastors of respected congregations and ministries who love New Heights Church and its pastor and are willing to provide spiritual protection to the church. They may be called in to help in accountability matters relating to the Lead Pastor if requested to do so by the Elders. The Overseers serve as Apostolic Elders.

Church Finances

At New Heights Church we practice tithing as God commands. We recognize that giving 10% of our income is the Biblical standard of giving. The giving of tithes and offerings is worship to Jesus Christ. It is an expression of the relationship between the individual giver and the Lord. Funds are not “income only,” they are worship, and must not be considered as a business transaction, but as an expression of gratitude toward God.
