I received the news no dad ever wants to hear, “please come with me, your daughter was involved in an accident”. My niece was driving my daughter to the morning session of our church encounter weekend. The night before, they both were on the front row, singing with all their might, “My hope is in YOU, Lord”. It was Saturday, at 8:30am, at the corner intersection by the church. A lady blacked out (we took time and prayed for her, we know this was an accident), and ran a red light, and side swiped my niece’s car, and took her into a tail spin and hit another car head on. When I arrived on the scene; they were in alot of pain, coming in and out of consciousness. All I could think of at the time, is Lord, please watch over them. We were rushed to the hospital in an ambulance, and my daughter was declared a trauma patient. At this time, we were believing for no lasting damage, thankfully a few hours later, we were told that there was no permanent damage. The lord was watching over my daughter and niece.

My wife and I could not be anymore grateful today. We believe the Lord was watching over them, and has a very special plan. The Bible says, “he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go.” His angels were truly watching over them.

My wife and I were so thankful for all the prayers, and comforting words we received during that time. God’s people are truly amazing. It is so good to be apart of the family of God. It is great moment for the church, being the church; blessings to all who stopped, prayed, and gave compassion.

The Bible says, “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them”. What the devil meant for harm, God is going to make something good out of it. I am believing the Lord, for even greater works in the east valley for His Kingdom’s purposes. The devil loves to distract, derail, and divide the plans of God, but this will not happen, God is going to take the upper hand and cause his church to grow and prosper. I hope you can join us this Sunday, as we see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
